They will be powered by a Wuling GM 4 cylinder, 970cc minivan engine, with Delphi electronic fuel injection, this vehicle has a top speed of 70 miles per hour with a 40+ miles per gallon fuel economy rating. It has a 5-speed manual overdrive Wuling GM transmission, air conditioning, heat, am/fm cd player, and radial tires. This is truly a full functioning vehicle w/extended cab and is also fun to drive. Yes, they are STREET LEGAL.
People have been searching for an alternative to the big vehicle. This vehicle hits pay dirt with its fuel efficiency and unlike the scooters or motorcycles can be driven in inclimate weather with the protection of a fully enclosed vehicle.
A smaller, less powerful version of this vehicle has been sold in countries, such as, China, Italy, and India over the last two decades. This custom designed and branded Trifun version is manufactured solely for the US market. All EPA and DOT testing has been conducted in California in order to satisfy requirements in the US.
